A Better You (in Your Marriage)

About Me

Hey Friend!

GOD IS WRITING AN UNEXPECTED STORY FOR MY LIFE – ONE “YES” AT A TIME.

I never thought I’d be the girl with a career pivot, but here I am: a pharmacist turned podcast host and author

Writing? Not a surprise—I’ve always loved it.
Using my voice? That’s the plot twist. I used to hate it. But God had other plans. He took the very thing I thought was unusable and is now using it for His glory—and I don’t hate my voice anymore. I love it.
I love it because it’s helping kids learn about God through Car Ride Devotions for Kids.
I love it because it’s encouraging moms to live Spirit-led lives through Mommyhood Empowered.
It all started with one “yes” to my first children’s book, What Did Your Dinosaur Do Today? Since then, that “yes” has grown into multiple books, a marriage resource for wives (A Better You in Your Marriage), and three podcasts. And I’m just getting started.
I’m passionate about helping families live full, joyful lives with God at the center—anchored in His Word and led by His Spirit.
My heart?
To help you fall deeply in love with Jesus.
To remind you that God is your ultimate source.
And to help you raise kids who follow Him for a lifetime.
Because here’s the truth: our kids are watching. Mine sure are. And that pushes me to live what I say—I hope it inspires you to do the same.
I love God. I love my family. And I love iced tea (a lot).
It’s an honor to be part of your journey.

Tiffany

If I had to choose a favorite accessory, it would be a hat! I own LOTS of hats that I change out day-to-day, but I have a few invisible hats that stay on EVERY day!

Here are my daily “hats”:

Mom Hat

This is my favorite hat. I’m also known as chef, chauffer, maid, emergency responder, and activity coordinator extraordinaire!

Wife Hat

I am still in awe that I get to be married to “the guy from church!” I stared at the back of his head for a year during church services wondering about his story, and now, because of God’s redeeming grace, I get to be a part of his story!

Writer Hat

I have loved writing since I was a little kid. Grown-up me is so excited that God is using my writing to impact others!

Fun Expert Hat

I know how to have a good time and I have a party supply closet to prove it!
Tiffany Tutu is my pen name!
Tiffany is my real name, but Tutu is not! My kindergarten teacher nicknamed me Tiffany Tutu and it stuck! Speaking of tutus, I love tutus! I’m always looking for an opportunity to wear a tutu! At bare minimum, I wear a tutu once a year to my birthday party. On my 40th birthday, ALL of my friends showed up in a tutu to celebrate. It was so sweet! When I became a children’s author, it felt like the perfect chance to use my beloved nickname in the “real world.” Don’t you agree?
I once got into a fender bender without any pants on!
After an evening hot yoga class, I was EXTRA sweaty and decided to take my yoga pants off for the drive home to help me cool off faster. I was ten minutes from home and it was dark outside, so I didn’t see a problem with it! Wrong choice! On the way home, I was rear-ended. Of course this would have to happen to me when I didn't have on any pants! I scrambled to find my sweat-drenched yoga pants and tried to put them on by the time the driver of the other car walked to my window. The lesson in all of this is? Sweaty yoga pants are your friend, don't take them off!
I’ve had the same best friend since second grade!
My best friend and I hung out for the first time at an ice cream social in the second grade. Our moms forced us to go together even though neither of us really wanted to! But mom always knows best, and we hit it off immediately! On the way home, she asked me if I wanted to be best friends.

I said, "Yes!" We spent the rest of the drive home memorizing each other's phone numbers (In the 80's you didn't have phones to memorize them for you)! We've been best friends ever since! We don't see each other in person very often, but we talk almost every single day! Best friends forever—literally!
I don’t own a single pair of socks!
I wasn’t always this way. I wore socks until I graduated from college. One day, I realized I was all grown up and I didn't HAVE to wear socks if I didn't WANT to wear socks! My feet don't sweat or stink so it isn't really a problem and I can use my sock budget on cute shoes! I used to keep one pair of socks on hand for when I went through airport security, but once I had kids and had so much other “kid stuff” to deal with while getting through security, I threw those socks away too! I try not to think about the “yuck” my feet are touching on the floor!
